Producing enormous, perfectly rounded flower globes in a rich violet-purple, this spectacular variety creates instant drama and elegance wherever it’s planted. Each globe is made up of hundreds of tiny star-shaped florets that shimmer in the sunlight, seeming to float effortlessly above the garden on tall, sturdy stems.
Flowering just as the spring garden reaches its peak, Party Balloon weaves beautifully among peonies, foxgloves, bearded iris, and the final tulips of the season. Its strong stems make it an exceptional cut flower, while the blooms are magnets for bees and butterflies. Even after flowering, the sculptural seed heads remain striking, adding months of architectural interest to the garden and dried arrangements alike.
